Black women are a powerhouse. When we show up to vote, we bring our communities with us and decide elections.
Composed of national Black women leaders, including organizational heads, thought leaders, and strategists, BWLC is a leadership and organizing hub for Black women’s organizations, advocates, and supporters.
BWLC IN ACTION
We leverage the power of our collective efforts to advance the issues and causes important to Black women and our communities. This organizing space allows us to share information and discuss the challenges at hand, leveraging our organizational strengths to support and coordinate all facets of our work. Together, we have the capacity to reach and engage millions of Black women through our extensive network, and we are building, growing and activating a diverse network of Black women throughout the country.

Virtual Sunday Black Family Freedom Dinner, October 20th at 6:30pm
ONE MILLION BLACK VOTERS RISING
Black women decide elections. Through 1MBVR, our coalition is registering one million new Black voters by 2028. It starts with your Circle of Tem: help ten people you know and trust get registered and ready, then keep them with you through every election. Twelve organization, 20 million Black women, 50 states, one goal.

Statement on Hurricanes Milton and Helene
We join together in offering our prayers and support for communities throughout the Southeast that have been impacted by hurricane Helene, as well as those currently preparing for hurricane Milton. The Black Women’s Leadership Collective is committed to help ensure access to the resources the long journey of healing and resilience will require.
